Cardiomedics Inc. has also become the FIRST ECP company to have a clinical study published in a peer reviewed cardiology journal which shows that ECP significantly reduces the annual mortality of congestive heart failure patients (Class II, III, IV) to less than 2%, while reducing re-hospitalization by over 85%.

The CardiAssist currently has two FDA 510(k)s. Number K872034 clears the CardiAssist for the treatment of angina, acute myocardial infraction and cardiogenic shock. Number K022107 clears the CardiAssist for the treatment of congestive heart failure. Cardiomedics, Inc. is ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and CE certified.
